Dorian has been and gone.
Unfortunately still heading up to
Georgia and the Carolinas
and perhaps on to Halifax!
But I've deleted all the hurricane pages
I was following.
Beau's hurricane face.
Big eyes, ears perked, wondering
what on earth that noise is!
It's breezy now.
But the sun is shining.
Unfortunately, last night Kyle came down
with the flu!
Poor guy was one giant ache.
Nauseated.
Headache, body ache, miserable.
He threw up a bunch last night
and is finally feeling a bit better today.
Hopefully it was one of those 24 hour bugs.
Because its back to the real world tomorrow.
Rod will be heading back to work after nearly
an entire week off!
And Kyle should head back to the ranch to
check on everybody.
(And he needs to take a couple of Linda's cows
up there to join the main herd...)
I'll be teaching the 2nd half of last month's
class this weekend.
The guys took the boards off Kyle's bedroom windows
this afternoon because he can't survive in the dark.
But we are leaving the rest up.
There are several other "areas of concern"
between here and Africa.
Season isn't over til Nov 30.
On that happy thought...
thanks for all the prayers!
We feel blessed!
