Progress!!

 Yesterday I stopped by the farm to

pick up Bear for his surgery today.

Kyle was busy painting all the

posts with tar to deter bugs.

Rod was taking up all the little

wooden bridges he built between

the concrete slabs.

We don't need them anymore.

I grabbed Bear and headed back

into town to get ready to teach.

And they motored on.

We now have about 2 feet of compacted

dirt around the poles!!!

(And at the time I'm writing this,

I'm willing to bet there is at least another

foot if not more!!!)

No more hole!

And we are getting closer and closer

to having a foundation!!!

I'm so impressed with what they

got done yesterday!

(The compactor is taking a toll on

Rod's back though... poor guy!

He'll be glad when this job is done!)

I dropped Bear at the vets.

And now I'm heading into Hays.

I tried to call you, Mom...

but maybe you were sleeping in!
