End of an Era

This morning United Launch Alliance

shot off the very last Delta IV rocket ever.

I have a cool app for my iPad that keeps

track of every launch everywhere on the planet.

There are a LOT!

But when our local Cape Canaveral  Space Center

shoots something off I try to watch it live.

*And then switch to the app to watch the

rest of the liftoff.

It's fun to watch the on-board cameras.

Compared to the shuttles of days gone by

And SpaceX's Falcon IX and Falcon Heavy...

This guy was TINY.

But beautiful none the less.

Thanks for being a little work pony for many years.
