SHOWER!

 Remember this little guy?

We purchased it in Wichita.

And today Rod got to use it!

All on his own!

(We have a clear shower curtain, 

so I sat on the commode and 

helped him reach things when he

needed, but it was VERY encouraging

to be able to do it by himself.)

He stayed by himself for a couple of

hours while Kyle and I ran into town

to do our Tuesday shopping.

Home Depot for some tar for his roof.

Tractor Supply for pig and chicken feed.

WalMart for groceries and a handy

lap tray for Rod to use while eating 

or doing Word Searches, etc.

And our local health food store to 

try to find some comfrey salve.

(They didn't have any, but we ordered

some from an online place Kyle uses...)

Once we got home, we both got to

take showers, and I cut some of my hair.

Again.

And then we had a nice dinner of

leftovers from Sunday's dinner.

We are heading out early tomorrow

(well, 8:00, but that FEELS early since

the sun doesn't come up until 7:45...)

for an appointment with his neurosurgeon.

Hopefully he is pleased with his progress.
