Happy Memorial Day

Yesterday was a nice day at church.
Rod got to conduct for the first time
as a member of the Bishopric.
(He has conducted before...)

He was set apart after the meetings.
It was a really nice blessing.
He's going to do a great job at this!

And then we came home (Kyle and I drive
together because they have a Bishopric meeting
at 7:30 and he didn't leave the church until
around 3:00 in the afternoon...)
Kyle and I had some lunch and just relaxed.

It has been raining since Saturday evening.
We've gotten lots of good solid rain,
not the downpour, roll off everything kind of rain.
The nice, steady rain that soaks in.
(With some lightning which adds nitrogen...)

Today it is still raining off and on,
but I taught the morning class, so I'm stuck in
my office. Kyle is getting ready to head to the
farm to water the plants that are still in his
shed, and maybe start some fall broc & cabbage.
(But he used all the dirt, so he has to stop and
buy more and they might be closed today.)

We might BBQ some steaks, if it's not raining...
otherwise they'll go in the air fryer.
Rod is working on the trim in the bathroom.

Anyhow.

I'm OFF tonight AND all day Wednesday!
Might not know what to do with myself!
(hahahahahahaha)
Tomorrow we will head into town for the weekly
Hays Run.
And we might need to go into Hill City to get
our LLC paperwork from the attorney and
the EIN from the accountant.
(same building)

And then we will probably drop by the bank and
open a checking account in the business name.
Might as well do that on the same day.
Trying to limit the trips into town.

And then............ we wait.
