New Dirt!

 Not GOSSIP!

DIRT!!!

(grin)

The cows have dug a hole below their

feeders (mangers) and when we fill

their water buckets the overflow fills

up there and with the COLD weather

lately, they are reluctant to stand in 

COLD water to eat their breakfast.

So I asked Kyle to run his tractor to the

back of the property and bring up a couple

of scoops of dirt from a pile we have.

He has supervisors...

Filled both the holes.

The one next to the water AND the one under their mangers.

And while he was at it he brought up a couple

of bucket fulls and filled the giant swale in front

of the gate going to the "back back" pasture.

(We have a front, a middle, a back and a 

back/back... lol)

So nice to have a guy with a tractor!

We also ran over to the feed store and

got a new roll of hay to put in the cradle.

The cows were starting to complain.

And then... back to the Zoom Room.

Two more nights...........

(Just finished for the evening and now I'm

heading to the living room for a little dish

of ice cream with Rod.)

(I'm bringing my blanket.)
