Celebration Breakfast

Dorian is moving!!!
Not very much
and not very fast
but at least it is...

And its the little things.

So I'm making a celebration breakfast.

Two trays of bacon with brown "sugar" on top.
Keto / THM friendly!
(And delicious!)

I also did another tray with half tater tots
and half chopped okra.

And a big pan of cheesy scrambled eggs.
It was yummy!
And I forgot to take a picture.

It's breez-indy. More than a breeze but
less than an actual wind.
So far no rain, but its coming.
(Just looked outside - its here...)

Just got the 11:00 a.m. update.
The storm has dropped to a Cat 2.
Once it gets into the gulf stream
that could change again.
But... as always... we don't know.

Time for a different kind of map.

Jim showed me this website.
There's lots of interesting stuff
and lots of stuff I don't understand.
But this one makes sense.
(The tiny numbers are wind speeds.)

Here's another one.
I'm not as happy about this one...

These are projected power outages.
Yuck.
Fingers crossed they are wrong.
We can totally do a power outage.
We have 2 generators.
But we would rather NOT.
Rod has been off work since Friday.
He's getting paid... but he's also getting bored.
(understatement of the world!)
If there's no power, the airport will stay closed.
And our house will stay HOT.

But we are still a gazillion gazillion times better
off than the folks in the Bahamas.
So we'll take what we get and be grateful.
