HARVEST!

Kyle and I headed out "early" to the garden
this morning and what to our wondering eyes
did appear.... but some actual vegetables!

Check out this beautiful pickling cucumber!

He's going to make a great dill pickle!

Look!
He has a buddy!!!

We've been watching this guy like
a hawk... but this morning it looked
like somebody else had their eye (teeth)
on it... so we went ahead and picked it.

It's not 100% yet, but it will finish ripening
up on the kitchen window sill.

Two reasons we had to put wire around the garden.
There were THREE of them, but the other
one hopped away just before I took the picture.

Probably sisters/brothers/cousins/parents of
"Stubby" the little guy we rescued a
couple of months ago.
He/She is still out with the other rabbits.
Not sure what we will do with it...
but we have lots of time.

We are HOPING to have babies by the
end of this month.
Bob and Ethel are currently cohabiting.
Corabbiting?
Hahahaha
Anyhow.
They're shacking up and I'm looking
forward to some babies before summer
heat takes over completely.
Fingers crossed.

Kyle's rose just gets prettier every day!
Just turned off the sprinkler so
lots of water droplets.
(Rod turns it on before he leaves around
5:45 each morning and I turn it off around 8.)
