Poor Daisy is limping.
We looked closely at her foot
and don't see anything wrong.
But she won't put any weight on it.
So she got to go to the duck hospital.
She is in her very own little house.
She has a bowl of her own food
(usually she has to fight the chickens for some)
and her own little water pool.
She even managed to get up into
the nest box to lay her egg!
I'm actually thinking about leaving her
in there after she is all better.
She seems pretty happy!
(I'll let her out in the afternoon to go
run around in the pasture - she likes to
play in the grass...)
But I wonder if, like the chickens,
if I leave her in there for a couple of days,
will she see it as "home" and go in
by herself at night?
Cuz catching her and putting her away
every night is a pain in the neck.
